DD Finder Useage

DDfinder is a simple paging system, with a call button on the ‘dangerous drugs’ (DD) cupboard, which notifies the nurse with the DD keys that access to the cupboard is required.

The package includes 2 Pager Units that attach to the DD keys and there is a recharging unit so no need for batteries. The units are robust which make them ideal for use 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Pager Unit features

• Alerts with moderate beep, strong vibration and/or soft lights for ten seconds or less when stop button is pressed.

Replacing the Transmitter Batteries

1. Unscrew the back cover of the transmitter.
2. Remove the old batteries.
3. Insert the new batteries making sure the terminals are correctly directed.
4. Replace the back cover and fasten the screws.
(The batteries in the transmitter unit will last 12 -18 months)

Recharging the Pager Units

• Change pagers every 12 – 24 hours allowing 1 pager to recharge and 1 pager in use.
• Place the pager in the recharging unit the light will turn green when charging.
